Negative Prompt
A negative prompt tells an image or video model what to avoid — a list of elements, styles, or artifacts you don't want in the result.
Where a prompt says what to include, a negative prompt says what to exclude — 'blurry, extra fingers, text, watermark, low quality.' The model steers its denoising away from those features.
Negative prompts are a quick way to clean up recurring problems (deformed hands, unwanted text, a style you keep getting) without rewriting the main prompt. They're most impactful on diffusion-based image models.
