Upscaling (AI)
AI upscaling increases an image or video's resolution while inventing plausible detail, producing a larger, sharper result than simple stretching.
Traditional resizing just stretches existing pixels and looks soft. AI upscalers add believable detail — edges, textures, fine features — to enlarge an asset (e.g. 512px to 2K) while keeping it crisp.
It's used to finish AI-generated images and video for print or high-resolution placements, and to rescue low-resolution source material. Quality depends on the upscaler and how much detail it has to reconstruct.
